Jess + Ben | Maker + Co
A killer venue, super relaxed vibes and a huge focus on friends and family – Jess + Ben’s wedding in Bunbury was all about the good good and it was everything I love about weddings.
Maybe the coolest thing they did was arrive early at their venue, Maker + Co, where they greeted all of their guests together and spent over half an hour hanging out with everyone and enjoying the buildup to their ceremony. When it was time to make everything official, family and friends clustered around the arbour than Ben had made with old jarrah timber from their home that they are renovating.
Their venue – Maker + Co – is normally a shared workspace in a refurbished old Victorian building, with beautiful feature windows and architecture. Jess, Ben and friends converted the basement into a dining space, and the upstairs was transformed into a rad ceremony and party area, where Eclipse band pumped live tunes.
With no bridal party we had a relaxed walking tour around town for some portraits, coming back for a killer feast from Market Eating House and kicking on upstairs.
Jess + Ben’s wedding was real good.
