Rennie + Jon’s Bunker Bay wedding didn’t exactly go to plan. A crazy spring storm scuttled their beach ceremony, but all of their friends and family came ready for a mad party.
You can’t really tell from the first photo – which looks like a dreamy day at the beach – but the wind was howling and rain was coming in sideways. A late season cold front drifted across the coast, and the weather would change every half an hour – veering from kinda sunny and alright, to full on stormy.
The moved everything off the beach and undercover at Bunkers Beach House, and not long after their ceremony was over it absolutely bucketed down. It was even hailing just down the road in Dunsborough.
Through it all Rennie + Jon stayed super relaxed and just went with the flow – the perfect way to enjoy your wedding.
Everyone was frothing to party and there was an epic energy at their wedding reception. Rowdy speeches and DJ Macca pumping tunes while the dance floor got torn apart.
